Anthony Robert "Tony" Awor is a sports agent from London who is licensed by the Football Association.[1] His involvement in football has seen him be a player then coach before athlete management.[2] He attended Isleworth and Syon School alongside Mo Farah and Owais Shah. He played youth football with Carlton Cole who grew up in the same area of west London, which has also produced other players such as Michael Mancienne, Steven Caulker, Nana Ofori-Twumasi and Michael Bryan.

Early career

Tony Awor attended Buckinghamshire New University and graduated with a Bsc in Sports Management and Football when he was not offered any professional terms with a club. During his education he continued to play semi-professionally and also took his coaching badges with Wycombe Wanderers F.C., which lead to a role as a youth coach. His coaching career in England has seen him work with elite level youth players for Brentford F.C., Chelsea F.C. and Q.P.R.. After completing his degree Awor moved to the USA and began doing player development for Major League Soccer which also saw him work with the New England Revolution and San Jose Earthquakes.[3] His experience in the states was invaluable and Awor made the decision to move from coaching to athlete management. Having spent 3 months in East Africa during 2011 he scouted the highly rated Ugandan International Godfrey Walusimbi and arranged trials with Allsvenskan club BK Hacken [4].
